It's
time to celebrate! Here is the notorious, lost film from
legendary Jose Mojica Marins, shot during his cinematic prime [shortly
after THIS NIGHT I'LL POSSESS YOUR CORPSE]. The movie was riddled
with distribution trouble during a crushing disagreement that personally
threatened Marins and the rights/ownership to his pictures. Eventually,
he retaliated by taking this film out of circulation. It has never been
released in any video format. But now, for a limited time, with a print
- retrieved "from the library of Jose Mojica Marins"
- this movie can finally be seen. On the down side, Marins most likely
kept this library print on PAL VHS and the image quality varies greatly
throughout. Some of the dark scenes are especially disappointing. Please

from the movie.
The story deals with Rolf, a rich American explorer, who organizes an
expedition into the Amazon in search of a crashed plane carrying stolen
jewels. Rolf is forced to include potentially dangerous companions in
his journey [including a boat captain who sneaks whores aboard for nights
of ribaldry, a group of men who are secretly planning a double-cross,
plus a native guide obsessed with rape]. Between nights of sex and brutal
violence, these adventurers clash in grotesque schemes of moral dilemma
with everyone's life in risk. Perhaps there's never been a more accurate
title for a movie!
