professor Marta was a recognized and successful psychic. However, after
a brutal rape [by acquaintance Mario], she loses faith in her prophetic
gift and develops agoraphobia. She had failed to see the animalistic
side of her rapist, and now, Marta is afraid that Mario will secretly
stalk her again. After she is released from the asylum, Marta moves
into her uncle's empty apartment. She immediately feels safe. But soon,
Marta's life is saturated with eccentric neighbors and the possibility
of a haunting. She doesn't realize just how close Mario is to wielding
another assault.
Alfonso
Pineda Ulloa, born in Mexica 1978, holds a MFA degree from the prestigious
Producer's Program at UCLA in Los Angeles. Before returning to a career
in the Mexican film industry, Alfonso became part of the HBO family,
helming a variety of series productions, including NINE
LIVES and BIG LOVE.
