Here
are two films shot in English in Colombia S.A. starring legendary luchador
Mil Mascaras. The first [promoted as "The Most Amazing Movie of
It's Kind Ever Filmed"] deals with an Aztec mummy, resurrected
in a human blood ceremony, who plans to conquer the world. But first,
he must eliminate [or convert] his arch enemy Mil Mascaras. For the
second film, Mil Mascaras comes to the rescue when the Aztec mummy artifacts
are stolen from the museum at Columbia University in the States after
a college prank turns deadly.
Much
of the second movie was shot at the university in Columbia, Missouri,
while the rest was filmed at the South American studio. The cast is
essentially the same (minus Richard Lynch who sadly died from a heart
attack, June 2012). The movies also feature a collection of other luchadors,
including the Son of Santo, Blue Demon Jr, Dos Casras, Huracan Ramirez
Jr, Neutron, Argozan, La Torcha, and Maura Incognita.
