Asian Cult Cinema Quarterly was founded by editor Thomas Weisser in 1992. Publication ceased September 2009 with Issue 64
.

Asian Cult Cinema published articles written by the some of the best known personalities in motion pictures, for example: ·HK Meets Hollywood· by John Woo, ·A Stupid Question· by Gong Li and ·Asian Horror· by Oliver Stone.

ACC also printed exclusive interviews with genre·s superstars from director Seijun Suzuki to actor Chow Yun-Fat, from Jet Li to Jackie Chan. The regular contributors range from a syndicated New York Post columnist to the world·s foremost expert on Martial Arts, from a university professor of Cinema Studies to an award-winning mystery writer, from big-name Hollywood directors to world famous horror novelists.
