On a
television show billed as "the greatest fight show on Earth,"
eager amateurs with lots to prove step into the ring and expect to leave
bloody but victorious. The ratings-hungry producers seek out "legendary"
but largely forgotten streetfighters anxious to recaptured glory. Three
old friends and rivals from high school days get invited to the big fight
for a chance to win $200,000 plus the Title. These contestants
include Deok-kyu (who now runs a struggling noodle shop after his Olympic
dreams were dashed), Jae-seok (a third-rate gangster), and Sang-hoon (a
former thug now turned corporate executive). Only one will survive.
