A group of
traveling athletes are holding a free show for an impoverished village
on the same day that a gang of killers invade. The bad guys, on a mission
of freeing a terrorist from prison, take over the town slaughtering everyone
in their path. The athletes and remaining villagers rise up against the
killers in a martial arts bloodbath frenzy. Director Panna Rittikrai was
the fight choreographer and writer for Ong-Bak: Thai Warrior and in Thailand,
this movie is considered its "sequel." Like Ong-Bak (and to
some extent more than Ong-Bak), this movie is filled with incredible jaw-dropping
stunts... all done FOR REAL, with no wires, no rigs and absolutely no
CGI. In order to achieve these death-defying martial art stunts, Rittikrai
employed a cast of real Thai athletes in the main action roles.
