A
light-skinned black man impersonates a Caucasian and joins the notorious
Ku Klux Klan to get revenge against bigots who bombed a church and killed
his daughter. Soon, however, the vengeful father begins having an affair
with the clan leader's daughter. She ends up pregnant, thus the reason
behind the film's original promotion tag: "She Had To Have His Love
... Even Though Her Baby Might Be Black!"
