Based
on the novels by Pierre Souvestre and Marcel Allain, here is the sequel
to FANTOMAS,
the lavish action/adventure comedy that dominated the International marketplace
in the early Sixties. Though virtually unknown in the United States, Andre
Hunebelle's epic films became the storyboard for the superhero genre.
This
time, master thief Fantomas turns his sites on a wealthy Scottish family
and threatens to eliminate them if they don't cough up a large chunk of
money. Upon hearing of this International plot, French Inspector June
travels to the British Isle to protect the family and catch his archenemy
Fantomas. The detective is joined by journalist Fandor and his girl Friday.
Everything soon erupts in mayhem during a big evening party.
