John
Moulder Brown (from RESIDENCIA:
House that Screamed) plays Mike, a 15 year-old teen who takes
a job at a run-down London health spa. Mike becomes obsessed with an
attractive young woman, Susan, who works as an attendant there. She
has an older boyfriend (actually Susan is the mistress in a selfish
relationship with a married man) but Mike does his best to sabotage
their relationship, stalking both with disastrous results.
Beautiful
Jane Asher was the younger sister of Peter Asher, the Peter of
'Peter & Gordon' pop singers. Through Peter, she met Beatle Paul
McCartney (he had written World Without Love for the duo). Jane
and McCartney were together for a couple years, engaged for most of
that time. He called her 'his muse' and said she was the inspiration
for his song "Here There and Everywhere." The two broke up
during the shooting of this film in July 1968.
