Crisobal (Miguel Angel Rodriguez) is a poor horse rancher with big ambitions. After urged by Tara, a mysterious sorceress, he yields to temptation and steals a statue filled with expensive gems hoping to win the heart of a rich girl named Susana. But Crisobal has been cursed by the witch [reminiscent of the Paul Naschy films] and is destined to become a werewolf by the light of the full moon. There's lots of fog and cool cave hideouts with evil female ghosts and enough bloodletting for the gorehounds.

Rene Cardona III - son of Rene Cardona Jr [TREASURE OF THE AMAZON] , grandson of legendary Mexican grindhouse king Rene Cardona [NIGHT OF THE BLOODY APES] - wants only to entertain his audience like his father and grandfather did for decades. Some critics argue that he simply doesn't have the talent of his predecessors. But, while Rene III may lack some of the family's cinematic finesse, he is dedicated to the horror genre (also see his superb VACATION OF TERROR) and he whole-heartedly embrace pop-culture [perhaps to a fault].
