Here's a frightening
thriller about a pretty artist named Sha Sha Lee (Japanese actress Michiko
Nishiwaki) who sees graphic murders in her dreams. The crimes are,
in fact, being committed by a demented serial killer. He was a professional
boxer, demoralized in the ring. This defeat caused severe physical and
emotional damage. Now he stalks the streets looking for women he can brutalize.
This Asian variation of Eyes of Laura Mars (1978)
is greatly enhanced by the brilliant cinematography by Yu Dong Ching and
the pounding musical score from producer Peng Ling Tai. Parkman Wong (Wong
Kuo Chu) directed only a few films (also see the similarEXPOSED
TO DANGER). He's best known as a producer and collaborator with
Danny Lee on the classic trendsetting mid-90's Category III films,DR LAMB,
