20 years ago,
a group of female agents went undercover at a posh hotel in Bangkok to
investigate a vicious international terrorist, Gu Zhi Jin. An explosive gunfight
at the hotel killed many of the agents but not team leader Fong. The target
also managed to escape. Today, Fong has organized a new group of young female
fighters and she is now on a mission to capture the terrorist she missed
25 years ago.
It's nice
to see the Girl-n-Guns genre alive and kicking under the firm direction
of a quality filmmaker like Wilson Chin. However, the true excitement
here is Jade Leung in the starring role as squad leader Fong. And oddly,
she's hiding behind the Jay Leung Jing pseudonym! Cult fans will
undoubtedly recognize Miss Leung from her BLACK
CAT series, but she has also thrilled gene enthusiasts with many
other projects including Ivan Lai's PEEPING
TOM and PHANTOM
OF SNAKE.
