plays Lila, a young and beautiful topless dancer who takes LSD one night
with a hippie she picks up. After hallucinating severely for a while,
Lila takes a screwdriver and kills her young partner, then chops him up
with a meat cleaver. This scenario repeats numerous more times times when
she done performing at the strip club while a pair of L.A. cops try to
figure things out.
Stewart later became the voice of Helga on the Scooby Doo Television
series (1970-1). The film is lensed by Laszlo Kovacs who - a year later
- would be the cinematographer for Easy Rider.
Director William Rotsler was a man of many talents... artist, cartoonist,
writer, photographer, filmmaker. He was a 4-times winner of the SciFi
Hugo Award, choice illustrator for Harlan Ellison and author of the novel
Vice Squad. He often used pseudonyms (Shannon Carse, Barney Boone,
Tony Haze, W A Chrisfield, Bill Rotzler, Clay McCord, et al) to
camouflage his diverse interests. In the mid-Sixties, he became editor
for Adam Film World, an Adult magazine that specialized
in descriptions and photos for exotic films, both foreign and domestic.
During that time, he put together his legendary Hippie documentary LIKE
IT IS. In the early '70s, he drifted into hardcore (XXX) with
movie like MIDNIGHT
HARD. Mr Rotsler died in October 1997 after complications from
radiation therapy. He was 71 years old..
