'Whip-n-Skin' director Lloyd Simandl helms an Italian Horror Film
starring: Erin Karpluk · Nicholas Irons · Colin Lawrence
· Daniel Coonan · Jane Peachey · Mhairi Steenbock
Asylum director Erich
Goeth has decided to offer a unique treatment to 'incurable' Molly Keller,
a young woman who is a descendant of Jack the Ripper and is plagued by
his toxic DNA. She can't control the horrid evil that feeds her delusional
fantasies and - in fact - believes that she may also be a serial killer.
Molly is offered the opportunity to pilot an unconventional experiment
at the Weisser Institute in Prague. She accepts, and immediately travels
to the clinic, where Dr. Samuel Weisser has developed a treatment using
a virtual world environment. Molly and other deranged patients become
trial subjects, functioning in a dream/nightmare environment orchestrated
by Molly herself. The evil inside the girl manages to free itself and
sets sites on slaughtering all participants in the experiment..
Filmmaker Lloyd A
Simandl specializes in Women-in-Peril exploitation motion pictures which
he calls 'Bound Heat' films (like CALIGULA'S
OF INNOCENCE, WHITE
SLAVE LOVERS, et al). Most of his movies are essentially interchangeable;
the plots most include beautiful women imprisoned, raped, disciplined
and usually sold into slavery. Nobody has reached Mr Simandl's level of
competence for this type of production. Since his first film, AUTUMN
BORN with Dorothy Stratten in 1979, he has made 50+ motion pictures,
all lensed in his native Prague Czech Republic. His productions look great
and capture the essence of this genre. However, this motion picture is
a dramatic departure from that formula. While still including helpings
of nudity and sadistic behavior, Mr Simandl is more interested in using
those elements to create a horrific supernatural tale.
Italian/Czech cc-production in English language; widescreen format (1.78:1),
