is a relatively unknown erotic thriller from Italy, with an uncomfortably
similarFatal Attraction plot, but lensed two years before
that more popular blockbuster. In that context, it must be considered
the real deal. It's a sordid (and ultimately incestuous) story
of Michael, a womanizing jerk who gets 'what he deserves' and the women
who desire and/or abuse him. The film opens as Michael is saying goodbye
to his girlfriend Helene. She is off to see her daughter for the Christmas
holidays. As they leave her apartment, Michael sees the landlady and
recognizes her from an affair that he had some 15 years before. Once
his current girlfriend pulls away in the car, Michael returns to the
apartment house to - he hopes - rekindle the relationship with Marie.
Even though he had seduced, impregnated and abandoned her, Marie is
still obsessed with Michael and reacts favorably to his new sexual advances.
However, he soon finds himself chained to the bed, at the mercy of the
spurned woman and the sexually curious teenager daughter.
