Henry Miller's notorious hardcore novel.
The American
writer Joe (thinly veiled character based on Henry Miller himself) arrives
in Paris to research and write about Proust. He meets the Polish rogue
Karl and they become friends. They spend most all their time visiting
brothels and restaurants, simply living the decadent life to its extreme.
When fifteen year-old Colette arrives in Paris, they both fall in love
with her.
A French
film, shot in English; widescreen format (16:9), uncut English version
