In 1937, Riccardo
Freda began a career in film as a screenwriter and production supervisor.
He moved to directing in 1942, beginning a career that lasted 40 years.
During that time, he flirted with a variety of genres including peplums
(GIANTS
OF THESSALY), westerns (DEATH AT OWELL
ROCK) and - of course - thrillers (FOLLIA
OMICIDA was his final project). Here, now, is an exploitive horror
film from 1972 starring Camille Keaton who would - a year later - find
worldwide success with I
SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE (1974). Mr Freda died in 1999 at age 90.
During a sudden summer thunderstorm, four hippies take refuge in the (seemingly)
abandoned Villa Alexander, unaware that a satanic sacrifice is being held.
When the ceremony ends in a bloodsoaked orgy, the hippies flee the scene
only to find themselves accused of committing a Mansion-style massacre.
An

encoded for REGION ONE NTSC, playable on any American machine; in Italian
