This is the first of Paul Naschy's SANGRE films from the 2000s (also see
ROJO
SANGRE [Blood Red]). For decades - especially throughout the '60s
and '70s - Paul Naschy made a name for himself as the werewolf Waldemar
Daninsky. He became the true king of Spanish [horror] cinema, recognized
worldwide for his remarkable 100+ films. But this movie will go down as
his most outrageous endeavor.
Here's
the mindnumbing plot:
Space aliens have come to Earth for two reasons... to eat and to fuck.
Their diet is comprised exclusively of rotting female flesh. When it comes
to fucking, their sex partners are human males and anal rape is the game.
Now - as if that weren't enough - the leader of these space monsters is
legendary Spanish actor Paul Naschy! Even seasoned cult-fans aren't prepared
for Paul's inspired performance. Plus, there's an amazing amount of blood
and gore, two-handed gunplay, torture, sexual brutality, zombies, a living-yet-detacted
penis with teeth, and a homage to classic horror films like TEXAS CHAINSAW
MASSACRE and DAWN OF THE DEAD. This is the Cult Movie Fan's wet dream.
