Satanic
rituals are conducted in an ancient castle's underground dungeon. The
goal is to revive a witch who was murdered 400 years ago. The rites involve
slaughtering seven naked virgins after torturing and whipping them. The
ritual is interrupted by one of the women's lovers who tries to save her.
He is unsuccessful and what follows remains one of the all-time sadistic
cinematic orgies, a virtual masterpiece of torture, impalings, decapitations,
crucifixions, whippings, devil worshiping brutality.
