A
English historian comes to Morocco to work on a study of the painter Delacroix.
He hears of a rare series of engravings and goes searching for them, soon
becoming obsessed with a beautiful blonde woman he sees in the ancient
medina. This leads him into a complex netherworld of S&M and sexual
brutality from which death may be the only escape.
