Suzuki's
comeback movie. After a ten year hiatus (the result of getting fired from
and blackballed by Nikkatsu in 1967), the legendary director returns with
his 40th movie. It's the allegorical tale (symbolic of Suzuki's own trials)
of an unconventional female professional golfer and her brush with success
and tragedy.
