Here's a gory,
scary, effective remake of the 1996 film (KUCHISAKE ONNA [Split-Mouth
Waman] by Teruyoshi Ishii). This slit-mouth woman is a notorious monster
- similar to the American bogeyman - who would kidnap and kill children.
She is a succubus who keeps the lower part of her face hidden behind a
veil. She seduces her victims with her eyes and the words "Am I not
beautiful·" before revealing a horribly distorted mouth and slashing
the victim with a long pair of scissors.
