Metzger's second feature film (following DIRTY
GIRLS) is an important taboo-breaking film of landmark importance
in the study of Sex in the Cinema. When Leslie, a member of Europe's wealthy
swinging set, feels ignored by her fiancee (who incidentally is in the
middle of an affair with her best friend), she decides to do some swinging
of her own. She chooses a young man named Christian but soon finds herself
drawn to the more tender lure of a beautiful lesbian socialite, Irena.
