Pod is a migrant worker drifting from job to job (after chopping his finger off in a sardine factory) when he meets Jin, a maid with her nose buried in a mysterious white book written in a foreign language. For Pod, it's love at first sight; but Jin then becomes obsessed with a hippie from the West.
