Great special
effects as giant turtle Gamera saves the world (well, Tokyo anyway) from
a man-eating, evil-incarnate dinosaur named Jidas. As these plots go,
there's not much new stuff going on here... kid finds an egg, it hatches,
out comes a turtle that grows into a breed of "gamera," authorities
take it into custody, meanwhile everybody is threatened by a really bad
monster and good-guy Gamera comes to the rescue.
