This movie was introduced at Cannes 2006 and it became THE film to see. It since has become the top grossing motion picture of the year in Asian, particularly Korea. Universal has just purchased the remake rights for Hollywood. Director Bong (MEMORIES OF MURDER) has delivered a masterpiece that deserves all the praise and hype it's been receiving. The host is a mutant monster that climbs out of the Han River and begins devouring people left and right. But, more specifically, the film deals with a man and his family who attempts to rescue his daughter after she's been kidnapped by the monster. The results will leave you spellbound. Don't miss this movie.
