A young social
worker is assigned a baffling case of violence and child neglect. The
mystery surrounds Ting Ting, a little girl who seems to "dwell constantly
with death," even living in the back of a coffin shop with her parents.
Accordingly to the social worker's case, the trouble began when Ting Ting's
teacher paid an unexpected visit to the house. The details are sketchy,
but on that day, her parents turned up dead and the teacher became hopelessly
insane.
