A blasphemous
movie about orgies, floggings, rapes, and lesbian activities inside a
Catholic convent in Japan [aka SCHOOL OF THE HOLY BEAST].
Mayumi has just learned that her mom is dead, the apparent victim of suicide.
She refuses to believe the report. And so, Mayumi investigates. MMmmm.
We forgot to mention an important part of this story - Mayumi's mom was
a Catholic nun at Sacred Heart Convent. So, anyway, the girl goes undercover,
joining the religious order to get the facts. The new novice discovers
more than she ever dreamed, a secret society, rampant with lesbianism
and systematic floggings.
Based on an
adult manga penned by the filmmaker himself, Noribumi Suzuki, who also
directed STAR OF DAVE (Beautiful Girl Hunter).
A Japanese
film; widescreen (1.85:1) uncut (94 min.) version in DVD encoded for
