This one is
often cited as director Wong Kar-Wai's finest.
He masterfully weaves two stories together, both giving a different view
of isolationism in modern Hong Kong. The tale of a professional killer
in Hong Kong follows the nuts-n-bolts of his job and his "partner"
whom he rarely sees. The second story deals with a mute (caused by eating
a rotten can of pineapples when he was 5!) who breaks into restaurants
at night and forces people to buy his goods.
