This
film is based on the true story of Alexander Pearce, Australia's most
notorious convict. In 1822, Pearce and seven convicts escaped from Macquarie
Harbour, a remote high-security prison. But once they found themselves
in the Australian wilderness, they entered a new Hell. With no food source,
it becomes a ritual of survival as the men turn to cannibalism to survive.
